Jeanie Mossa MS., L.Ac. is a tree hugging artist, author, licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She is the owner of Four Paws Acupuncture in Salem MA. In the late 1980s she worked as a glass artist in San Diego. After becoming ill from the environmental exposure to working with glass she became interested in alternative medicine and lifestyles. It was this turning point that led her to become a practioner of Oriental Medicine.
She holds a masters degree (MS) in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and has completed the Animal Acupuncture certification program at New England School of Acupuncture. She is a former faculty member of the Canadian College of Oriental Medicine (Toronto, Canada). Jeanie is also a certified Reiki practioner. She has been treating people and animals with holistic medicine for more than 25 years.
She has written and illustrated six books and created several online classes. In her spare time, Jeanie is also an artist and owner of Practical Magic Salem featuring one of a kind jewelry, mixed media and art dolls.
Jeanie lives in the Witch City of Salem Massachusetts with her husband, Rebel Black Cat Brigade and their menagerie of magical creatures.
