What would Frankie Bergstein wear?
Undine Dreams ARTifact Necklace #8
All seashells except for the Keyhole Limpet shell used to create this art to wear were found on my many excursions to Winter Island in Salem MA, Plum Isalnd and Sandy Point Beach in Ipswich MA.
This statement piece was handcrafted with eco-friendly paper clay painted in sea green and blue tones with a touch of gold leaf. It is embedded seashells, rhinestones and moss. A broken sand dollar with gold leaf edge, semiprecious gemstone chips of Lapis Lazuli, Fariy Moon Snail shells, Mussel shell fragment, a tiny clam and a Keyhole Limpet. When the light hits the pendant, tiny rainbows are reflected.
An ivory Freshwater Pearl with an Aurora Borealis Czech glass crystals are wire wrapped with peridot green copper wire. Copper enhances the healing properties of gemstones and shells.
I crocheted strands of shimmering silk threads of sea blue, pink and gold which measures about 36 inches long. This cord can be tied to the length desired when wearing.
On the back of the pendant is a message that reads "i believe in magic"
All semiprecious stones, crystals, seashells and driftwood are saged, cleared and charged with Reiki.
Lapis Lazuli is a gorgeous blue stone known as a good fortune stone used to manifest prosperity. Used by the ancient Egyptians to connect to the spirit world, and for eye make-up! Opens the Third Eye Chakra and helps bridge the spiritual world with the physical. Excellent to meditate with.
Spiritually pearls soothe the body, mind and soul while healing negativity. They are a symbol of rebirth, birth, new beginnings. The Chinese believe pearls aid in fertility as the help balance the body’s natural rhythms and hormone levels with lunar cycles. They are considered yin and a sign of the Moon.
Mussel seashells represent the moon, stability and living peacefully in a community. They are said to helps us weather life’s storms.
Snail seashells are considered a symbol of rebirth and transition. Their whirled shape of a shell represents the circle of life and the tides of the moon. Because snails have shells, it they also remind us of boundaries and to protect ourselves. Snail shells are the perfect example of Sacred Geometry.
The Sand Dollar was found on Sandy Point Beach in Ipswich. It is not really a seashell. It is a sea urchin which is related to the starfish. Its five-pointed star represents the Star of Bethlehem and the Star Tarot card. Sand Dollars represent balance, Divine energy, wisdom and transformation. They are also associated with prosperity
Clams represent abundance, love, healing energy and being grounded. They aid with confidence and being emotionally grounded.
Keyhole Limpets represent finding a way out of a situation. New doors opening. Unlocking psychic abilities. This was the only shell that not found locally in MA.
Measures inches 6 long and about 4 inches wide. Lightweight. Gift bag included.
