Winter Solstice Spirit Being Doll

I love to incorporate treasures from nature and ecofriendly components when making art dolls. Her body is a piece of driftwood found on Winter Island in Salem MA. All her clothes are made from recycled fabric, lace and shimmering snow blue tulle.

Glass beads are sewn all over her clothing. Please note that this is a handmade doll. Part of the charm are the strands of threads and tattered fabric that one would expect a Winter Goddess to walk around the snow in!

The Winter Solstice Goddess’ face is hand sculpted & hand painted ecofriendly paper clay. It is a shimmering light blue with hues of silver. Silver rhinestones and glass beads adorn her face. Strands of fringed pom pom yard add a touch of boho whimsy.

A clear Quartz crystal point sits on the bottom of the branch with glass beads and moss. A rainbow Hematite crystal point is in her left hand. In her right is a Czech Crystal with a blue Eye of God bead used for protection.
